There are many food pantries around the Buffalo area that accept donations and can help those in need have access to food.
On the Buffalo State campus is Milligan’s Food Pantry, which offers food to any registered student in need. It is located on the fourth floor in the Student Union, with check-in in room 402. Currently, we have a box outside the Record office (B141) where you can donate non-perishables, as a part of the Record’s First Annual Thanksgiving Food Drive.
FeedMore WNY is another large food pantry that aids significantly in the feeding of people all over Western New York. They accept donations at two locations in Buffalo: 100 James E Casey Dr. and 91 Holt St.
Hearts for the Homeless offers food and clothes for homeless people and those in need. There are several bin locations where you can donate, which can be viewed on their website, heartsforthehomeless.org.
Candice’s Mobile Pantry sets up every Saturday around Riverside and Black Rock, giving out essential items to those in need in the area. For donations, they can be contacted at 716-471-0453, lecandicedurham@gmail.com, or their website, candicesmobilepantry.com.
Hope & Joy Food Pantry is located at 750 Wehrle Dr. in Buffalo, accepting donations to provide food and essential supplies to the community.
