Bird Week at the Hot Mama’s Canteen

Get your indie head friend out for this one if they don’t already know Bird Week’s spark of Post Punk Midwest Emo is heading for Hot Mama’s Canteen on Sep 4.
No city is safe when this Kingston band puts boredom to ashes lighted by intimate hooks on their autumn tour.
Doors open at 6:00pm, music starts at 7:00pm. Tickets are $7.
Vertigo Child At the Helm, Cheap Peach & Akloh at Buffalo Ironworks

Pop Rock R&B artist, Vertigo Child, celebrates the 5-year anniversary of their project at Buffalo Ironworks on Sep 12.
They are pulling out all the stops with a show lineup of great music as tribute to the supportive fans who have been integral to the artist’s musical journey.
“It’s more than a reflection. It’s a reckoning- with the past, the moments that defined me, and what lies ahead.” Vertigo Child said.
Doors open at 5:30pm then music starts at 6:00pm. Tickets are $17 presale then $26 at the show.
Madame Reaper, Blaised & Confused, Angie Lucy at Amy’s Place

Self-described Vampire Synth Pop outfit, Madame Reaper, is making their way from Chicago to Amy’s Place Area 54 for a Lavender Room show on Sep 29.
Arriving with their gothic new wave glam sound, dynamic and introspective songwriting and a larger than life show presence, they’re sure to bewitch the mortals and have them stay inside the castle.
The indie electronic camp will not be letting up as drag artist Bleu Darlin’ serves up the counts and sun bathers in between sets.
Music starts at 7:00pm with tickets $10 at the show.
Lavender Room’s policy is pay what you can, but no one will be turned away due to lack of funds.
