GALLERY: 100 Years in the Making: The Record alumni return for reunion dinner

More than 70 current and former staff members of The Record returned to the place it all began Friday to wrap a bow around the celebration of the paper’s 100th year at Buffalo State.

As the concluding event of the centennial celebration in 2013, alumni from the 1940s through today attended the dinner at the Burchfield Penney Art Center, some venturing to campus from as far away as Texas, Tennessee and Washington.

Part of the celebration included the distribution of a special edition of The Record to commemorate all 100 years of the paper’s existence. These papers are available upon request for anyone interested. To request your copy, email current editor Brandon Schlager at [email protected].
