For one day, Uber and Lloyd Taco Trucks will join forces to sponsor a free tacos giveaway.

Starting at 10 a.m. on March 2, tomorrow, Buffalo residents can enter the contest by downloading the Uber app. After opening the app, tap the Lloyd icon at the bottom of the screen to begin the request. Lloyd will give away tacos to 12 randomly selected locations, providing enough food to feed up to 20 people. Each individual will be allowed to order up to $15 worth of food.

The giveaway ends at 2 p.m.

Uber is currently unavailable in Western New York, however, a law to bring it  here is currently in the State Assembly voting process. The giveaway email states, “Even if ridesharing isn’t allowed in upstate New York, we want to bring Buffalo residents a local favorite using the magic of Uber.”
