Staff Reports

University Police are investigating an alleged sexual assault that occurred in the Student Apartment Complex Sunday night, UPD said in e-mail to enrolled students.

The alleged assault happened around 11 p.m. Sunday when the female victim visited the male suspect’s room.

The investigation is ongoing, and the Erie County District Attorney’s Office is assisting University Police.

The e-mail went on to say that, “sexual assault can happen anywhere, at any time, to anyone, male or female. If you are the victim of a sexual assault, you are encouraged to immediately contact University Police at (716) 878-6333 and seek medical attention. An on-campus advocate from the Counseling Center may be notified for immediate assistance.
