In a tightly contested race, it was Derek Jorden that came away the winner in the Buffalo State United Students Government 2015-16 presidential race.

 

Jorden won the seat by just edging out Terron Grant, 427 votes to 420. Felipe Yanez, the other candidate, received 229 votes.

 

The seat for USG vice president for campus affairs and government relations was another tight race. Juliana Bolaji won the seat with 469 votes, while Alicea Arias earned 452.

 

Diaisha Richards was named treasurer for the second straight year with 656 votes; Tyshame Reid had 291.

 

Emily Leminger ran unopposed for executive vice president and retained the position for the second straight year with 894 votes. Asiria Cornielle (vice president for public relations) and Jamili Kelly (vice president for academic affairs) also ran unopposed.
