When the Buffalo music industry collapses I need to start writing weather articles since winter and spring are still fighting with each other in the middle of April.
Well, these upcoming shows are keeping that thought right back up in the clouds. The bands and artists for this week are going to provide all the feels.
Sloyjoy, Flycatcher, & Heart for Sale at the Rec Room

Concert goers of the emo, indie, and shoegaze variety are going to enjoy some moody and infectious hooks from Slow Joy.
Flycatcher are bringing the emotional support setting up those early vibes for the headliner. Local pop punk band Heart for Sale who some folks may have heard from 91.3 fm WBNY are more than worthy as being openers with their emo pop punk energy.

Doors open at 6:30pm with music starting at 7:30pm the Rec Room. Tickets are $20.
Ian Mccuen, Hudson Freeman, Stress Dolls, & TTTT at Amy’s Place Hosted by the Lavender Room.

I was not kidding when I said that you were going to be catching feelings, with this being a prime spot for the folk, indie, and lofi enjoyers.
Headliner, Ian Mccuen, is bringing personal and intimate vibes with their acoustic bedroom folk.
From Brooklyn, Hudson Freeman takes their eclectic folk making city folks want to head out to Lake Erie for a summer evening.
Stress Dolls has no shortage of varying thoughts and emotions to captivate listeners along with vocalist, Chelsea O’s distinct and forefronting vocals.
Then openers TTTT, did not leave their raw and aggressive indie-punk vibes at the basement.
A line-up like this is in no small part thanks to the Lavender Room, a queer-led DIY booker that brings shows that are beloved by the community.
Tickets are $10 at Amy’s Place with doors opening at 6:00pm then music starting at 7pm. Lavender Room’s policy is to pay what you can, but no one will be turned away due to lack of funds.

Shows to catch in Buffalo will be continuing for next while I leave the weather reporting to professionals.
