Bengals ‘bouncing back’ for 2022 Homecoming

Hannah McMahon, Treasurer

Homecoming 2022 is right around the corner.

Starting next week Buffalo State will come alive with events honoring the community.

This year’s theme is “Bengals Bouncing Back” representing the unity and strength of the Buffalo State community.

Events are running throughout the whole week, so there is something for everyone.

This year is Benji’s 151st birthday and he has big plans.

This includes his own birthday party on Tuesday, Sept. 20. Stop by The Plaza between 12:15 p.m. and 1:30 p.m. for cupcakes and light refreshments.

Buffalo State’s organizations will also be celebrating his birthday, stop by any organization that interests you and play some games!

Some other highlights that year include the Homecoming Pep Rally and Party in the Plaza on Friday Sept. 23 from 6 p.m. – 10 p.m. There will be music, food and fun activities including games and bounce houses.

You can also cheer on Buffalo State athletes at one of their games this week. The Women’s and Men’s soccer teams have games, as well as the football team. Go Bengals!

The Bengals are bouncing back this year and homecoming will be a week to remember!

Bengals are incredibly resilient and strong and the same can be said about our students, so let’s take this week to celebrate our strong community!
