SUNYSA President to host Town Hall Meeting about campus closure

Danielle Graham, Associate News Editor

Gov. Andrew Cuomo announced Wednesday that all SUNY Schools will be closed starting March 19 and will host online classes for the remainder of this semester.

With the unexpected news, SUNY Student Assembly president Austin Ostro is hosting an emergency meeting at 8 p.m. on Google Meets to answer any questions or concerns about SUNY campuses being shut down due to the concerns of the coronavirus outbreak.

Ostro says he will be able to offer students guidance about the transition to online-only classes and wants to hear what other concerns they have that he can take to the SUNY Chancellor.
