REPORT: Women’s Soccer players call for coach to resign

Eleven members of the SUNY Buffalo State Women’s Soccer have filed a formal complaint calling for the removal of coach Nicholas DeMarsh, according to a report Saturday morning from The Buffalo News.

The players reportedly accuse DeMarsh of being “unprofessional, hurtful and ultimately detrimental to one’s mental health and self-confidence.”

DeMarsh is still the head coach, but the school acknowledges he is under investigation.

The complaint reportedly lays out 16 separate occasions where the players believe DeMarsh violated the school’s code of conduct.

Since taking over in 2002, DeMarsh has led the Bengals to a 147-149-40 overall record. DeMarsh also serves as the Fitness Center Manager.
