Josh Allen wants out of Buffalo

Buffalo Bills QB Josh Allen has requested for a trade, sources said Monday afternoon.

Coming off an exceptional rookie year out of Wyoming, the 22-year-old reportedly went to the office of general manager Brandon Beane and requested to be dealt to another team.

A source says Allen became distraught after the failed attempt by the Bills to trade for WR Antonio Brown or WR Odell Beckham, Jr., who were traded to the Oakland Raiders and the Cleveland Browns, respectively.

Another source confirms these reports and adds the discussion quickly became a loud and vulgar argument that could be heard through the hallways. Allen reportedly had to be escorted out of Beane’s office and tried to go back in before being restrained again.

“I am rather disappointed in Josh’s request for a trade after we made some moves for players that we thought could fit the system,” Beane said.

The Bills were able to sign some key players including WRs Cole Beasley and John Brown along with C Mitch Morse, who became the highest-paid center in the league.

“This completely shakes up everything we have worked towards,” Bills head coach Sean McDermott said. “Now (Beane) and myself have to create a new plan as we head into the Draft. We will continue to trust the process.”

The Bills currently own the ninth pick of the 2019 NFL Draft. With a rather thin draft class at the quarterback position, it will be interesting to see if the Bills trade up for Kyler Murray or Dwayne Haskins.

Many NFL Draft experts have Murray going first overall to the Arizona Cardinals and Haskins going sixth overall to the New York Giants.

Another possibility for the Bills could be to trade for Cardinals QB Josh Rosen, who was the 10th pick in the 2018 NFL Draft, three picks after Allen.

“(Rosen) had a very good year in Arizona last year, but it all depends on what the Cardinals are willing to fork over,” Beane said.

The Bills could also inquire about the services of two-time Super Bowl Champion Eli Manning if they decide that a quarterback in this class isn’t what they want and would like to wait a year.

The 2020 NFL Draft could include Alabama’s Tua Tagavailoa and Oregon’s Justin Herbert.

The 2021 NFL Draft could include Clemson’s Trevor Lawrence, who has been described as a “once-in-a-generation type talent” by experts.

“Bringing in a player like Eli could definitely bring wisdom some of our younger players. The man is a two-time winning quarterback. He would be a great role model to a young QB if we do decide to go that way,” said McDermott.

The Record reached out to Allen’s camp, but have received no response.

Lol jk. April Fools. Josh Allen did not request a trade. None of this is true. Please don’t sue me because I have $40 in my account.
