XC competes in PSB Invite

The men’s and women’s cross country teams traveled down to Erie, Pennsylvania to compete in the Penn State Behrend Invitational this past weekend. The men finished sixth out of nine teams, while the women placed seventh out of 11.

Junior Phil Giuga placed ninth out of the total 91 runners with a time of 29:07.3. Freshman Kevin Murnock was seven spots behind him with a time of 29:34.8.

For the women, sophomore Ronni Kordrupel led the Bengals with a third place finish out of the 98 competitors. Senior Elizabeth Wall and sophomore Jaclyn Tedesco were among the top 25 as they came in 12th and 23rd, respectively. Wall clocked in at 21:34.0, meanwhile Tedesco was timed at 21:59.1.

Both teams will travel to Roberts Wesleyan University in Rochester for its invitational on Saturday, Sept. 24 starting at 11 a.m.
