The 49ers demolished the Patriots 30-13 to get back in the Power 10. Jordan Mason had another huge game filling in for the injured Christian McCaffery, as Mason ran the ball 24 times for 123 yds and one touchdown. Jake Moody had three field goals, and Fred warner had a 45-yard pick six.
San Francisco looks to build on this victory when the Arizona Cardinals come to town next Sunday at Levi’s Stadium.
9. Seattle 3-1 Previous Rank: 7
Seattle lost to a tough Detroit team on Monday Night Football 42-29. They didn’t have an answer for Jared Goff, who threw zero incompletions in the game. Geno Smith will be soaking his arm in this week, as he threw 56 times trying to get his team back in the game.
Seattle looks to get back on track this week as they host the New York Giants at Lumen Field on Sunday.
8. Baltimore 2-2 Previous Rank: NR
The Ravens ran roughshod over the Bills embarrassing them on National TV on Sunday night 35-10. Derrick Henry ran for 199 yards and Lamar Jackson threw two touchdowns while adding another on the ground.
The Ravens looked like the team we have known for years and expected coming into the season, with a rock-solid defense and an offense that can run the ball down your throat.
Baltimore looks to get over the .500 mark for the first time this season when they travel to play the division rival Bengals at Paycor Stadium.
7. Washington 3-1 Previous Rank: NR
The Commanders ran their record to 3-1 after their third straight win in a blowout against the Cardinals and find themselves in the power 10 for the first time this year.
Jayden Daniels looks for real and is the front runner for rookie of the year. The Commanders hung 42 points on the Cardinals as Daniels was nearly perfect, completing 26-30 passes for 233 yards and one touchdown passing and rushing.
The Commanders look to add to their win streak when they host the Cleveland Browns at Northwest Stadium on Sunday.
6. Tampa Bay 3-1 Previous Rank: NR
The Bucs shot down the Eagles 33-16 in front of a packed house of 64,223 at Raymond James Stadium.
Baker Mayfield threw for 347 yards and two touchdowns while also running for another, putting himself in MVP status.
Tampa Bay takes the short trip to Atlanta in a NFC South clash with the Falcons on Thursday Night Football in the Mercedes Benz Stadium and streaming on Amazon Prime.
5. Buffalo 3-1 Previous Rank: 2
Buffalo ran into a buzzsaw in Baltimore. The Ravens scored on their first play and never looked back as they put a beat down on the Bills.
Buffalo got run over and showed that the losses of Milano and Bernard really hurt the team defensively. Allen was constantly under pressure, and resorted to scrambling for most of the night.
The Bills look to right the ship when they travel to Houston to take on the Texans at NRG Stadium on Sunday in a revenge game against Stefon Diggs, who wants to beat his old team at home.
4. Houston 3-1 Previous Rank 8
The Texans defeated the Jaguars 24-20 at home. C.J. Stroud saved the day for Houston, connecting with Dare Ogunbowale from one yard out with 18 seconds left to clinch the game for Houston.
Stroud threw for 345 yards and two touchdowns in the win at home on Sunday.
Now the Bills come to town looking to right the ship after an untimely loss to Baltimore last week on Sunday Afternoon.
3. Detroit 3-1 Previous Rank 4
Jared Goff put on a clinic on Monday Night football as he was a perfect 18-18 passing. Goff threw two touchdowns and even caught a touchdown pass from Amon-Ra St. Brown from eight yards out.
Goff ended the night with a passer rating of 155.8, as the Seahawks went home deflated and defeated 42-29.
The Lions will be resting in their Den this week, as they have their bye up next on the schedule.
2. Minnesota 4-0 Previous Rank 3
Sam Darnold is having an MVP season so far this year through the first four games. The Vikings went into Lambeau and jumped out in front of the Pack 28-0, before holding on to win 31-29.
Not only could Darnold be looking at the MVP, but also comeback player of the year honors as well. Darnold has completed 68.9 percent of his passes, while throwing for 932 yards and 11 touchdown passes so far this season.
The Vikings travel to London where they will be the home team against the Jets at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
1. Kansas City 4-0 Previous Rank 1
The Chiefs are still rolling along after losing their starting running back in Isaiah Pacheco and now losing their top wide receiver in Rashee Rice.
The Chiefs now look to get their 1st round pick Xaiver Worthy more involved in the offense, as Worthy is averaging 17.1 yards a catch so far this season. Travis Kelce bounced back and had a nice game against the Chargers catching 7 balls for 89 yards.
The “Punt God” Matta Araiza had a game to tell his grandchildren about as he punted 4 times for 200 yards for a 50 yard average and all four punts were downed inside the 20.
The Chiefs look to keep their perfect season alive as they host the Saints at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium on Monday Night Football this upcoming week.
