Things turned rowdy inside the Sports Arena following Tuesday’s Bengals vs. Golden Eagles basketball game.
Buffalo State’s Director of Athletics Renee Carlineo says an altercation took place between Brockport players and a spectator, who is believed to be from Rochester and not affiliated with Buffalo State University. This individual has been prohibited from returning to the campus.
Video footage is being reviewed and the incident remains under investigation. In the meantime, Carlineo says student safety is the primary concern.
“Enhanced security and staffing measures will be implemented for future events,” she said. “Buffalo State remains committed to providing a safe and secure environment.”
