The time has come for another Battle of the Bands, hosted by Buffalo State University’s student run radio, WBNY 91.3 FM.

The annual battle is back and this year’s event will be held at Buffalo’s Mohawk Place on Thursday, April 20.

The finalists who will be battling to the end for their title as winner are Pretty in Plaid, Tsavo Highway, Headspace, Hello London, and Wasted Space.

“I think it’s a great opportunity for the people of Buffalo to hear the varieties of music being made right in their own community,” Mike Masters-Holler, assistant manager at WBNY said.

WBNY has a love for local bands like no other, each of the five bands have their own unique sound that favors them in gaining some new fans during the event.

Doors open at 7pm and the first act will start at 8pm. Everyone 18+ with an ID is welcome to come and enjoy the shows. Buffalo State students are free with a student ID and the general admission door entry fee is $5.
