Calling all communication students and sports fans!

On Monday, April 19, at 10 AM, senior VP of communications at the NCAA, Bob Williams, will be talking via zoom. Williams will cover a variety of topics, including what a job in sports communications is like.

Williams, who is a Buffalo State graduate of the class of 79’, will dive into his current job and how he got his foot in a very tight door to kick off his career.

Mr. Williams oversees the NCAA’s communications efforts through two units: external affairs and strategic communications. He is also the Association’s primary media spokesperson. He joined the NCAA in February 2005 after more than 25 years of service with the United States Air Force, where he managed public relations activities in several capacities since 1980.
