Williamsville Oktoberfest: It’s Oktoberfest season! Heyyo! Head down to Island Park in Williamsville for a fun-filled weekend this Friday through Sunday. The park will be busting at the seams with food vendors from local restaurants and live music bumping all day, plus activities galore! I mean come on, they’ve got hay rides, horse and carriage rides, contests, scarecrow making, a craft show and farmers market! You can even run a 5K if you want! Ready, set, go!

Oinktoberfest: Oink! Oink! Oinktoberfest is the longest continuously running BBQ competition in NY and has continuous music all three days, plenty of BBQ vending teams, a KCBS sanctioned Competition Saturday, a Whole Hog Competition, Outdoor Cooking Contest and the Rib Oink-Off on Sunday and an Awards Ceremony following the contests both days. Heart of Texas is the theme for 2017. So put on your plaid and head to Pumpkin Farm in Clarence this Friday for free admission to Oinktoberfest! You’re sure to be entertained and your appetites satisfied.

Black Pussy / Deadwolf: The guys just released a new full-length album Power, debuted May 30, and are set for a three month tour across the country fighting off the name haters. Their classic, upbeat, relentlessly hooky tracks have led to Hill coining the phrase “stoner pop,” like The Cars meets Black Sabbath. The band’s catchy music tends to seduce anyone, even those who walk in off the street. So basically, they’re awesome! Plus, tickets are only $6 in advance and $8 at the door.

AppleUmpkin Festival: What is more fall-like than Apples and Pumpkins? Exactly, nothing. Okay, maybe pie. But, they’ll have that too! We invite you to revel in the final golden days of summer along gaslit streets of Wyoming, NY. The historic streets will be lined with hundreds of craft vendors, strolling entertainers and the mouth-watering aromas of delectable festival treats!

Blacklight Run: Wait. Guys, this is so cool. Grab a white t-shirt, any will work, and walk, run, jog, sprint, skip, slip, or slide your way around this crazy cool glow in the dark 3 mile fun-run. You will finish covered in Neon Glow Powder, that will glow in “Blacklight Zones” and at the after party. By the end, you will look like you fell into a Ghost Buster’s movie (minus the slime)! This is the first of its kind at night and is quickly sweeping the nation!
