The Sports of Buffalo Sate: Meet the Skating Bengals
March 4, 2021
Welcome back Bengals!
As we skate into the opening weeks of the 2021 spring semester, students and faculty alike are hoping and praying that light at the end of this long and dark tunnel is found soon. With the entirety of the fall semester being online, students have lost what it means to be a college student.
Recently, there have been no events on campus. All theater productions have been canceled. All classes remain online. Most importantly, all sports activities are delay until next semester.
I wish I could come to you with better news for the spring semester, but unfortunately, there is still no lights to be found. With that acknowledged, the State University of New York Athletic Conference has decided to cancel all winter sports for the 2021 season.
As you can tell, this makes it increasingly difficult for a sports writer to post new content. However, I have come up with an idea for a series that should hopefully carry us sports fans into the fall semester.
As often as I can, I will be writing an article about each sports team. In these articles, I will be highlighting three players on each team. They each received a set of questions that they will be answering. I hope that this series will keep students, fans, and athletes engaged in their beloved sport. Don’t worry! Before we realize it, we will be back in person cheering on our fellow Bengals.
