ADAM TRENT- The breakout star of the world’s best-selling magic show the Illusionists will be performing live at Shea’s on Wednesday at 7:30pm! He has been the face of the Illusionists, making several appearances on TV, including the NBC primetime special, The Ellen DeGeneres Show, The Today Show, and countless others, along with his own 10-episode series on Red Bull TV. Definitely sounds like a cool event that brings involves comedy, music and illusion. You’re never too old for a little magic.
SHAMROCK RUN- ATTENTION RUNNERS!! The Shamrock Run is this Saturday and starts at noon at the Old First Ward Community Center. The money raised will go towards the Old First Ward Community Association so they can serve the needs of the Old First Ward and the Buffalo River Community. If you’re into running, or just need an excuse to to support the cause, this is definitely going to be a huge event that you’ll want to attend. Registration is available online, or if you decide you want to participate last minute, registration starts at 9am the day of the event.
HORSEFEATHERS SATURDAY WINTER MARKET- Did someone say shopping?? Plenty of vendors will be there, including Buffalo Cake Pops, The Naked Soaps, and Rooted Locally, offering cool and unique local products from 10am-2pm in the Horsefeathers Building. What better thing do you have to do on a Saturday morning?! AND, you can get your brunch on at Lait Cru Brasserie (in Horsefeathers) before or after you shop!
NEW PRIMA OLIVA CAFE- This cafe has just moved to their new space on Buffalo Street in the village of Hamburg, and it. Is. Delicious. The menu is healthy af and the options are limitless. They offer everything from fresh squeezed juices to soups to acai bowls, oh AND even their own olive oil. And the atmosphere is . Perfect for a study/homework date. Go check it out this weekend. You will not regret it.
